Abstract: Activated sodium persulfate used as the AOTs to degrade the biochemical effluent of bamboo wastewater in chemical machanical pulp craft was investigated. The results indicated that when the dosage was 1.5 kg/t at 50℃,COD reached the lowest,65 mg/L,and the removal efficiency was 54.86%.Thus the effluent met the national emission standard,80 mg/L.The pH value could not only perform the lignin-precipitation-effect in strong acidity, but also affect the species of free radical in powerful alkaline in the heat activated persulfate system. The oxidation of pollutants could finish in 20 min because the free radicals had strong reactivity and short life.No change had occurred on the COD nearly with the reaction time prolonging.
