Research Progress of Extraction Technologies of Oleuropein

Abstract: The extraction technologies of oleuropein are summarized in this paper. The extraction time, efficient and energy consumption for each method are discussed. The assembly of ultrasound and low-temperature vacuum is considered as an appropriate method for industrialized production, which is easy to operate with high efficiency and low energy consumption. In addition, we hope that the extraction of natural product could be directly connected with advanced analysis equipment in future, such as HPLC, GC-MS and so on. It not only increases the detecting and analyzing speed greatly, but also controls the quality of product. This will be a trend of development in the future to study the extraction and separation of natural products.
