    Study on Hybrid Paint of Nano-silica/Acrylpimaric Acid Modified Rosin with UV Curing Technology

    UV cured hybrid paint of nano-silica/acrylpimaric acid modified rosin was synthesized by mixing the two materials. The films were analyszed by FTIR, the mechanical properties and the heat resistances were also studied. The results showed that the addition of nano-silica extended the curing time and reduced the degree of crosslinkage and the degree of crosslinkage increased with the increasing dosage of photoinitiator and curing time at the same content of nano-silica. In addition, nano-silica particles could improve the mechanical properties, 10% content of the nano-silica made the pencile hardness reaching 4H and the adhesion reaching reaching the 1st grade. It also had some influence on the appearance of the hybrid, so it was better to keep the content of nano-silica less than 10% to keep the appearance and mechanical properties of the hybrid film. The thermal weight loss analysis showed that the addition of nano-silica had no visible influence on the heat resistance of the hybrid paint.

    Study on Disproportionation Reaction of Slash Pine Rosin Catalyzed by Palladium/Bamboo-charcoal (Pd/BC)

    Pd/BC was used as catalyst for disproportionation of slash pine rosin. The optimal reaction condition was established. The amount of catalyst is 0.4% of raw material by mass, stirring speed is 500 r/min,reaction temperature is 270℃ and the reaction time is 3 h. In these conditions, the content of dehydroabietic acid in slash pine disproportionated rosin is above 56% and abietic acid is decreased to 2%. But this doesn’t meet the national standard (the content of abietic acid ≤0.5%). Pd/BC also catalyzes disproportionation reaction of masson pine rosin in the same conditions above, except that the catalyst amount is 0.3%. The content of abietic acid in masson pine disproportionated rosin is 0.43%, which meets the national standard.

    The situation and progress of liquefaction of wood biomass and effective utilization of liquefied products at home and abroad were described. Application prospects of liquefaction of wood biomass and its products were discussed specially. The main factors influencing the liquefaction of different wood biomass were discussed. The structural characteristic of typical liquefied products was analyzed. Practical applications of some liquefied products, especially the typical application in adhesive preparation, were illustrated. Some opinions to problems occurred is this research field and industrialized development were given.

    Methods of synthesizing lyral from myrac aldehyde by indirect hydration and direct hydration are introduced in this article, and their advantages and shortcomings are compared. It is proved that direct hydration using cation exchange resins as catalyst has better results.

    Cedryl acetate was synthesized from cedrol and acetic anhydride by catalysis of mixture of phosphoric acid and acetic acid under microwave irradiation. The optimum reaction condition obtained from orthogonal experiment was as follows: molar ratio of cedrol 5.55 g to acetic anhydride 1:1.5, dosage of catalyst 0.010 g, microwave irradiation power 450 W and irradiation time 20 min. Average yield of cedryl acetate was 74.6%.

    The standard of granular activated carbon for decoloration of citric acid was investigated by the method of math statistic. On the basis of considerable experiments, items of granular activated carbons for the decoloration in the production of citric acid were decided. Moreover, the results show that the item of methylene blue adsorption should be recommended to evaluate the decoloring capacity of activated carbons for the production of citric acid, rather than the adsorption capacity of acetic acid.

    The constituent analysis of fatty acid methyl esters in biodiesel at different GC-MS conditions was studied. A reasonable GC-MS condition, which is PEG-20M as GC column, constant 150℃ of column temperature, and 0.2 μL of injection volume, was selected. The ten main fatty acid methyl esters in biodiesel were commendably separated and identified. The test time was only 12 min. This method can be used for GC-MS constituent analysis of fatty acid methyl esters in different biodiesels made from different vegetable oils.

    Based on analyzing the present monitoring and controlling situations of the pilot-plant equipments for terpene chemicals, DCS technique has been firstly conducted to design and construct the CDMCS (Central digital monitoring and controlling system), and then applied to upgrading reconstruction for central monitoring system of terpene chemicals pilot-plant equipments. The CDMCS has passed system and equipment debygging, online operating tests, and application tests. The CDMCS has run in real charge operations for 90 days and it reached the predictive goal and effects: temperature accuracy ± 1℃ for controlling, and 0.1℃ for displaying, pressure accuracy 1 kPa for controlling, and 0.1 kPa for displaying. The work is a new practice, and can play a good modeling role and have bright application prospect for reconstruction of old systems such as the terpene chemicals pilot-plant equipments in research organizations or industrial enterprises.

    Research of Bio-based Adhesive Used for Rice Seeding

    A kind of bio-based adhesive used for making the rice seeding sheet and its synthesizing process were introduced. The bio-based adhesive which met the requirement was prepared from starting material corn starch which was first modified by cooking with alkaline pulps,then oxidation and cross-linking. The influences of reaction temperature and time,dosage of oxidizer and cross-linkier on the properties of the adhesive were discussed.The synthesis condition was: oxidation temperature, 50℃; oxidation time,120 min; oxidizer dosage, 6%(based on starch) and mass ratio of cross-linkier to starch, 2:5. The structure of the adhesive was characterized with IR. At last,the breeding test shown that there was no negative impact on the germination of seeds when using the adhesive.
