Prospects of Studies on Jatropha curcas Biodiesel in Sichuan

Abstract

Abstract: The related domestic and foreign studies on Jatropha curcas biodiesel were summarized in this paper.Biological and morphological features of J.curcas, their regional differences, and performances of biodiesel from J.curcas were described.The superiority of J.curcas biodiesel in the field of biodiesels was pointed out.The developing pathways of J.curcas biodiesel was put forward.Finally, combining the current states of research and exploitation, the superiority on industrialization of J.curcas biodiesel in Sichuan was analyzed.
