Research and Development of Biomass Gasification Technique for Power Generation in China

Abstract

Abstract: The biomass energy was given more and more attention because of its characteristics of cleanness and no pollution. Development of new utilization of biomass energy had been an important focus currently. The biomass gasification for power generation was one of new techniques for utilization of biomass energy. The development and application of biomass gasification technique for power generation were mainly introduced in this paper. Some problems occurred in biomass gasification for power generation and their resolution methods were also discussed. The economic status of power generation from biomass was analyzed and the application prospect of power generation from biomass was predicted.
