Abstract: The new polymers such as phenol and aminophenol derivatives of HBS lignin were prepared by chemical modification of HBS lignin and enzymatic hydrolysis lignin to increase the hydrophilicity of lighin. The adsorption of lignin derivatives for three proteinases (panain, trypsin and pepsin were) investigated. The results showed that the lignin derivatives were able to adsorb three proteinases. The adsorption abilities of aminophenol and phenol derivatives of HBS lignin were better than that of HBS lignin. These enzymes still kept higher activity after being adsorpted. The lignin and its derivatives could be used as new adsorbents for enzyme concentration or new carriers for enzyme immobilization.
