Advances in the Studies of Yeast Engineering Strain for Degradation of Cellulose

Abstract: Consturction of yeast engineering strains by gene recombination technique is viable for cellulose degradation and ethanol production.In this paper, 2 different yeast expression systems and the cellulase gene cloning and expression in the yeast were summarized.Application foreground of the yeast engineering strains in cellulose degradation was also described.
