Abstract: The energy efficiencies of two heat transfer methods: immersion evaporation and falling film evaporation were compared. The results showed that although the evaporation intensity of falling film evaporation was two times higher than that of immersion evaporation, but in practice, if the heater was set up around the wall of heating room, the energy efficiency of immersion evaporation was about 57% higher than that of falling film evaporation.

Key words: immersion evaporation, falling film evaporation, energy efficiency
