Abstract: Aimed at the color problem of disproportionated rosin soap in present domestic market, rosin soap decoloration experiments are thoroughly studied in this paper. The decoloration by SQZ-9 is ascertained as a simple, economical, prominent process, which can reduce the color of disproportionated rosin soap from Gardner color number 8 to 3. Based on the results, in Guangxi Wuzhou Rosin Ltd.Co., a pilot experiment was done, during which two problems appeared to be the partially high temperature of soap and descending of the transparency of the decolored disproportionated rosin. As the solution to the problems, the decoloring technics was improved. The decoring mechanism is also supposed in this paper.
