Research Progress of Livestock Protein Feedstuff Preparation by Solid State Fermentation

Abstract: Research progress of solid state fermentation (SSF) to produce protein forage at home and abroad was reviewed.The advantages and disadvantages of SSF,and the influenting factors of SSF including kinds of substrate,strain selection,technical parameters were expounded in detail.Furthermore,the problem and key technology in the process of SSF were discussed to provide a reference for the further process of the farming and forestry residues.
